Summer Programs
Please note: All 2020 school-aged summer camps are now FULL. There are still openings in our pre-school day camps. Contact our Director to be placed on a wait list or to register for pre-school camps.
Our Children's Program is pleased to announce that they will be offering summer camp and child care programs for preschool and school age children for 2020.
Registration officially opens up on Tuesday, February 25th from 6-8pm at our annual Open House! Not only can you come to register for our summer day camps, but you can bring your children and come and see what our Children’s Programs child care facility has to offer! Enjoy a Hot Dog, Chips and Drink, participate in fun activities and tour our facility.
This year registration forms are available to complete and submit online.
Payment must be made in person by cheque or cash to secure your spot at or after our Open House. We fill spaces on a first come first serve basis and fill up quickly!
Once registration has been submitted and payment has been made new families will receive an invitation through child care pro to complete your child’s emergency contact information and to provide centre specific consents. All returning families will be asked to review their emergency contact information and consent forms on file to ensure all information is current.

Information on our 2020 Summer Programs:
July 6th to August 28th 2020

Preschool day camp (Nursery School): Ages 2-5 runs 9:00-11:45am

School-age day camp: 6-12 yrs of age, 8:00-4:30pm

School-age child care: 6-12 years of age 7:00am to 5:30pm

Subsidy Available, must indicate need of early drop off and late pick up for school age child care at the time of registration. Summer hours will vary based on the needs of our families.

Our summer camp staff consists of Early Childhood Educators and Child Care Assistants who work in our nursery school and school-age programs during the regular school year. The overall summer camp program is supervised by the Director of Children’s Programs. We may also have one or two summer university students working with the programs to enhance ratios and to provide additional program support.
This year we have increased our programming for our school age campers and will provide 8 weeks of camp/child care services this year. There will be many educational and fun activities for both the school age and preschool campers; on site as well as out within the community. Parents will be notified of specific information related to the weekly field trips by email prior to the start of your child’s registered week. Parents must provide written permission for their child to attend field trips minimum 24 hours prior to the trip date. Our educators will present you with the appropriate forms as needed.
Preschool Camp: Fees are due in full at the time of registration. Maximum 30 children per week.
School Age Camp and child care: A $25 deposit for each week per child is due at the time of registration. You may also pay in full at that time. Maximum enrolment: 30 children age 6-12 and 10 children age 4-5 (entering kindergarten)
Fees must be paid in full by Monday morning drop off each week. No exceptions.
If attending for the full 8-week summer program, payments can be broken down and made into 2 payments to cover the duration of care. One payment on July 2nd to cover the registered weeks in July and again on August 6th to cover the registered weeks in August. You must arrange this with the Director ahead of time.
